Indian Institute of Technology invites applications from all the candidates who are interested in taking admission in various engineering courses. The exam is conducted by IIT on all India bases and is generally known as Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE). The institute has been regarded as one of the prestigious one in the country and offers excellent placements to its students.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board.
The candidate can appear in the JEE twice only, that too in consecutive years.
The candidate who are currently in their 10+2 and will appear in the final examinations in March, 2009 are also eligible to apply.

Last date for the receipt of completely filled Application forms (through post): December 16, 2008
Last date for the receipt of completely filled Application forms (at IIT’s): December 24, 2008
Commencement of JEE : 12 April, 2009
