Western Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell invites applications for recruitment 2011 of vacancies in Pay Band-I of Rs.5200- 20200 + Grade Pay of 1800. There are total 8054 posts for erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts in Division(s) and Workshop(s) of Western Railway. Last date for receipt of applications is 15th Feb 2011.

2. Helper II/ Khalasi (Engg / Mech / Elect / S&T): 2340 Vacancies
3. Helper II/Khalasi (Workshop): 467 Vacancies
4. Helper II/Khalasi (stores): 265 Vacancies
5. Platform Porter: 752 Vacancies
6. Safaiwala (Medical/Mechancial/ Commercial): 486 Vacancies

Minimum qualification required is 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent. Age limit is 18 to 33 years. No fee for SC/ST, Physically Handicapped, Women candidates, minorities and economically backward classes. Fee should be submitted through DD in favor of “Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment)” and payable at Mumbai.
