Assembly Elections in Tamilnadu Election 2011 Date | Schedule, Votes Counting Date Result Update

The election dates for four states Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and West Bengal and the uTamilnadu State  Assembly Electionnion territory, Puducherry. The election dates for Kerala and Tamil Nadu is April 13. West Bengal will have election on 6 days starting from April 18. Assam will have its election on two different dates (April 4 and April 11). The counting process of these elections in all the states will start on May 13. The Election Commission has announced dates for elections to Assemblies in four States and the Union Territory of Puducherry. Assam will have a two-phased poll on April 4 and 11. Kerala, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu will have a single-phase election on Apri1 13. West Bengal will have a six-phase poll starting April 18 and ending May 10. Counting of votes in all the four States and Puducherry will be held on May 13.

The total number of Assembly Constituencies in the States of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry and West Bengal and the seats reserved for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes, as determined by the Delimitation Commission under the Delimitation Act, 2002, are as under:

ELECTORAL ROLLS

The electoral rolls of all the existing Assembly Constituencies in the States/UT of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Assam and West Bengal have been revised, with reference to 1.1.2011 as the qualifying date, and have been finally published. As per the final rolls, the number of electors in these States/UT are as following:
