The Indian bike lovers are after a well number of bikes that is of 150cc engine capacity.  Royal Enfield bikes whose engine capacity is more than 350cc, there are a very less number of bikes that are having good engine performance. The bikes such as Hero Honda Karizma, Bajaj pulsar 220 and the Honda CBR 250R are the only bikes whose engine capacity is around 220 to 250 range.Yamaha, the Japanese motorcycle maker, will launch a 250cc version of one of its bikes before the end of this year. The upcoming 250cc bike might be Yamaha FZ or Yamaha Fazer.

There is very great news to be out in the Indian market and that is the release of the Yamaha 250cc bike that will rock the Indian roads with its extraordinary features such as the performance and the pick up. The bike is definite to deliver good performance on the Indian roads. The launch of the 250cc bike by Yamaha will be around time, but it is still to be confirmed by the Yamaha Company. A naked design of the Yamaha 250 cc is doing rounds on the Indian roads and thus many people have noted that. The bike is supposed to be the extension of the Yamaha FZ series.

The 250cc bike form Yamaha is going to have a single cylinder fuel injected engine. The engine of the new Yamaha bike will be air or liquid cooling system. The bike is going to have 4 valves and an adjustable monoshock is also present at the rear. The disc at the front and the rear part of the bike is not yet revealed and is on the manufacturing process. Considering the price of the Yamaha R15 in the Indian market, the price of the new 250cc Yamaha bike is expected to be around Rs. 1.75 to 2.0 lakhs.

Now, Yamaha need to price their bike around this figure to compete with the likes of Bajaj and Honda. The latest piece of buzz doing the rounds is that the Japanese bike maker will bring the Fazer 250. However, we doubt this, as the Fazer looks outdated considering the fact that the Honda CBR250R and the KTM Duke 200 look not just brilliant, but are also packed to the gills with some cutting edge technology.

The Yamaha Scorpio Z-225 would be a better option mainly because the Indian customer is familiar with the FZ series and the 150cc version of the bike has been doing well in the country. Secondly, buyers love the looks of the FZ and giving it a more powerful heart would only help improve the image of the bike. By doing this, Yamaha India might also be able to price the FZ22s at INR 1 Lakh, which makes it excellent value. Tell us what do you think in the comments section below!
